This is one of only two Frazer Nash Continentals built with BMW V8 power, and the first of them. The chassis began life as a Bristol-engined 200-series car, was renumbered when the BMW unit went in during 1956, and was registered in August 1957 under the unusual chassis number 521/1. The rolling chassis was shown at the 1956 Earls Court Motor Show.
It was originally clothed in an alloy coupé body designed by Peter Kirwan-Taylor, the man behind the Lotus Elite, and built by Peels of Kingston. That coupé body was later discarded and replaced by the open sports body it wears today. The chassis follows the usual parallel-tube 200-series layout, with transverse leaf-spring front suspension, a de Dion rear axle, Koni dampers and centre-lock wire wheels. Full weather equipment is stored in the large rear boot.
The car is finished in green over a black interior and is right-hand drive. The dealer describes the restored condition as mint, and the car shows 6,000 miles. The page records a chain of owners including Ivor Moseley Webb, who kept it for 20 years from 1966. It is offered without VAT.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Only general facts known: the Continental (shown 1957, built in very small numbers) used BMW's 3.2-litre V8 from the 507. Could not confirm a Roadster variant or any factory performance or weight figures, so those are null.).
£250,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
