Ford Escort Mk2 MST Group 4

This is a new-build Mk2 Escort from MST, finished to Group 4 rally specification on a fresh UK-made bodyshell. It is a one-off, built on purpose-made jigs rather than restored from an original shell, and it has covered only delivery mileage.

Power comes from a Millington-built 2.7-litre Cosworth-based four-cylinder with an alloy block, Jenvey throttle bodies and a dry sump. It is quoted at more than 350 bhp. It drives the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential Tractive gearbox with dog engagement, a plated limited-slip differential and an Atlas axle.

The chassis hardware is competition-grade: a multi-point FIA roll cage, WRC-spec Bilstein and Reiger adjustable dampers, and AP Racing four-pot brakes. Minilite-style 15-inch wheels carry Cooper rally tarmac tyres. Inside are Recaro Classic seats and a sueded rally wheel. The car is in MST Classic Blue with an RS2000 boot spoiler and ceramic coating, and the page lists one owner from new.
