About this car
The Ferrari LaFerrari sits in a category occupied by fewer than a handful of road cars ever made. One of just 499 built worldwide, this 2014 example represents Ferrari's first application of hybrid technology in a production road car — deployed not for economy, but to extend what a naturally aspirated V12 could achieve beyond its own limits. The 6.3-litre V12 pairs with the F1-derived HY-KERS electric motor to produce a combined 950 bhp, translating to a 2.6-second 0–62 time and a 217 mph top speed. With only 1,929 miles from new and full Ferrari service history, it is essentially undriven for its age.
The specification here is particularly purposeful. Finished in Nero Daytona — a darker and arguably more dramatic choice than the typical Rosso — over black leather with Rosso contrast stitching and Alcantara centre seat sections, the car carries the embroidered Cavallino headrest logo and coloured stripe on the carbon dashboard crosspiece. The options list is extensive: factory Racing Seats in Large with 4-point harnesses, front and rear suspension lift, Matte Black 20-inch forged wheels, carbon fibre mirror arms, telemetry kit, and track camera kit. Rosso Corsa brake calipers against the black exterior add the only visible flash of colour.
Underneath, the carbon fibre monocoque, carbon ceramic brakes, active aerodynamics, and electronic differential combine with the HY-KERS system to produce a car with no perceptible delay between input and response. UK-supplied from new and comprehensively documented, this is one of the more seriously optioned and least-used examples currently available.
