This is an early L-series Dino 246 GT, the rarest of the three series, with only 357 built. L-series cars are recognisable by their centre-lock magnesium wheels, and this one also has headrests mounted to the rear bulkhead, a feature of early production. Chassis 0976 was completed on 3 July 1970 for the Italian market and delivered new by Nocentini Automobili in Florence. It has kilometre-calibrated instruments.
The car is finished in Rosso Chiaro (20-R-190) over Nero vinyl with black carpets. It has been owned since 1998 by one of the dealer's directors, who bought it from a Swiss owner. It is described as unrestored and not needing restoration.
The history file runs from 1970 and includes purchase documents, customs forms, registration papers, period photographs and owner's books. The car also comes with a tool roll and a Maranello archive letter confirming its specification. The price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Ferrari factory figures (195 CV/143 kW at 7,600 rpm converted to 192 bhp; 235 km/h top speed). Ferrari quotes only a dry weight (1,080 kg), so kerb weight is null. No factory 0-60 time was published.).
