Ferrari Dino 246 GT

Chassis 07000 is a Dino 246 GT supplied through Maranello Concessionaires to HR Owen of London. It was specified in Verde Pino Metallizzato over beige and Nero trim, with optional electric windows. The original invoice, showing a list price of £5,351.24, is on file. The page gives the year as 1972 but describes the car as ordered in 1973.

It stayed with one Leicestershire owner from 1979 until 2017, when Simon Furlonger bought it. A full nut-and-bolt restoration followed. The engine was rebuilt, the body was repainted in its original colour and the interior was retrimmed in period-style materials. The body number, 2318, was found on the trim, and the original paint was still visible in places. The dealer says the major mechanical components are original and matching, and a photo library documents the work.

The car was shown at Salon Privé in 2019 and photographed by Road Rat magazine. It then went to a collector, who has used it sparingly. All maintenance since has been done by the dealer's workshop. The car shows 52,000 miles and is offered with Ferrari Classiche certification. The price is on application.
