Ferrari Dino 246 GT

This right-hand-drive Dino 246 GT, chassis 06744, is one of fewer than 500 believed to have been built in that configuration. It is finished in Nuovo Giallo Fly with a Nero interior and sits on Campagnolo wheels. Electric windows and a period eight-track cartridge player are fitted.

It was delivered new in November 1973 through Pennine Motors of Harrogate to a first owner in Abercarn, Wales. The second keeper bought it in 1978 with under 12,000 miles, and in the 1980s it was restored, gaining wider wheels and extended arches. The current vendor's predecessor bought it in 2002 at 25,000 miles and kept it for about twenty years, with servicing by a former Maranello technician.

The car has covered 31,081 miles. The seats have recently been retrimmed by Ferrari specialists and a mechanical inspection has just been completed. A substantial history file includes early Maranello Concessionaires paperwork and copies of the original factory order.
