This is a 365 GT4 BB, the first of Ferrari's Berlinetta Boxers, and one of only 88 built in right-hand drive. Chassis 18159 was delivered new to Australia in 1974 and shown at the 1975 Melbourne Motor Show, finished in Argento over beige, the combination it wears again today.
Its history is unusually well documented. The second owner, Barry Batagol, used it in sprints, and his wife Cheryl won two trophies at Winton Raceway. A failed transaxle pinion shaft at about 15,000 miles led to a later-specification replacement, and the file keeps the correspondence with Ferrari in Modena. The car came to the UK in 1988, spent years in dry storage and was offered by RM Sotheby's in 2014.
The current owner has had it since 2015. During that time it has been repainted in Argento, and the matching-numbers engine has been removed, cleaned and refinished with a new flywheel. The suspension has been rebuilt, the Campagnolo wheels refurbished and the brake calipers replated. In 2024 the cambelts were replaced, the carburettors rebuilt and the starter and alternator overhauled. The odometer reads 37,343 miles.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Ferrari factory figures: 380 PS (375 bhp), 4390 cc flat-12, 302 km/h (188 mph) claimed. Ferrari quoted a dry weight, not a kerb weight, and no official 0-60 time, so both are left null.).
£349,995 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
