2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale
£449,950
About this car
Only 119 right-hand-drive Challenge Stradales were supplied to the UK, and this is one of them. The Challenge Stradale was Ferrari's road-legal take on the 360 Challenge race car: roughly 20 kg lighter than a standard Modena, with a revised ECU, a freer-flowing exhaust, and a quicker-shifting F1 gearbox with launch control. Carbon ceramic brakes were standard, as were the lightweight 19-inch Challenge alloys, which here are finished in silver.
This 2004 car is in Rosso Scuderia and is a non-stripe example. Inside, the carbon-shelled racing seats are trimmed in Nero leather with Rosso contrast stitching, which is repeated on the steering wheel and the Alcantara rear wall. Four-point harnesses in Rosso, a Giallo Modena rev dial, carbon door cards, tunnel, climate panel and mirrors, and Scuderia Ferrari shields complete a cabin that stays close to the car's race-bred intent.
The odometer reads 27,000 miles, which is modest use for a 22-year-old Ferrari that was clearly built to be driven. The car has a strong service history and has just been serviced. The 3.6-litre V8 sends its power through the F1 single-clutch transmission, and the car is offered at £449,950.
