The 330 GT 2+2 replaced the 250 GTE as Ferrari's four-seat V12 grand tourer. This Series I car, chassis 5759, has the Pininfarina twin-headlight nose and a 3,967cc Colombo V12 producing 300 bhp. It is a left-hand-drive car, one of the roughly 500 Series I cars built, and was supplied new to California in 1964 in Avorio.
Its ownership history is well traced through a series of American owners. The car was repainted silver in the 1970s and later finished in Argento over Rosso leather. The current owner bought it from DK Engineering in June 2012 and had it returned to its original Avorio. The engine was rebuilt by DK Engineering, and the car has covered about 2,500 miles since.
Servicing has been carried out by DK Engineering and GTO Engineering, with further work by Sporting and Historic late last year. The car comes with a substantial history file, including invoices and a mileage log from an earlier owner, as well as its tools, operating manual and spare parts catalogue.
