About this car
A 1966 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Series II, one of just 26 right-hand-drive examples imported into the UK. Finished in Grigio Argento Metallizzato over Nero leather, this is the five-speed, twin-headlight evolution of Pininfarina's four-seat V12 grand tourer — the car that replaced the interim quad-lamp Series I and brought alloy wheels, optional power steering and air conditioning to Maranello's long-distance tourer.
First supplied on 11th August 1966 via Maranello Concessionaires of Egham to a Mr A Sindall, the car carries an unusually well-documented ownership chain: Peter Blond (Sotheby's chairman) in 1972, then David Werrett who exported it to Canada, before being repatriated in 1989 by Ferrari specialist Talacrest. The previous custodian, who acquired the car in 2007, commissioned a nut-and-bolt rebuild in 2016 including a full rotisserie respray by Cheshire Classic Cars.
Showing 83,000 miles and freshly serviced, it presents with a comprehensive history file. RHD Series II cars rarely surface — the global market is dominated by LHD examples, making this a credible buy for a UK-based collector seeking an honest, properly restored front-engined V12 Ferrari from the classic era.
