Listed today at Tom Hartley Jnr, Hook Norton. Last checked today.
The 275 GTB was Ferrari's first road car with a rear-mounted transaxle and independent rear suspension, and the alloy-bodied long-nose cars are among the most sought-after of the line. This 1965 example is one of very few aluminium-bodied 275 GTBs delivered new in Oro Chiaro Metallizzato, a pale gold, with black leather inside.
The car is described as fully matching numbers, with chassis, body, engine and transaxle confirmed by Ferrari Classiche 'Red Book' certification. It is believed to have had five owners from new, the last of them for around thirty years.
As a pre-1966 production car it is eligible for historic events including Goodwood and the Le Mans Classic. The price is on application and no mileage is stated.
