The Miami Special Edition is a one-of-12 Caterham Seven built to mark the 2026 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. It is based on the 420R, with a 2.0-litre Duratec engine making 210 bhp, a five-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. Caterham quotes 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds.
This is car number 9 of the 12, finished in bespoke Aqua and Vibrant Pink. It was intended for the Formula 1 Driver's Parade, but the Grand Prix was brought forward because of weather and the parade never ran. Spec includes the larger SV chassis with lowered floor, heated carbon fibre seats with Miami embroidery, Bilstein suspension, a 620R nosecone, black pack detailing and LED lighting. An engine bay plaque carries the signatures of the two technicians who built it.
It has covered 16 miles and is not yet road registered, though Caterham can arrange IVA testing and registration for the first owner. Like all 12 cars it is factory-built left-hand drive, and it comes with a Caterham manufacturer warranty.
