The Superlight R400 sits near the top of Caterham's Seven range, pairing a 2.0-litre Ford Duratec with a very light chassis for a power-to-weight ratio of around 400bhp per tonne. This 2013 car is described as one of the last built before the range was rebranded, and began life as a staff car for the head of Caterham's F1 operation.
It is finished in Ferrari Titanium Silver with a black pack and Superlight decal kit, carbon cycle wings and a trackday roll bar. Mechanical specification includes a dry sump, lightened flywheel, six-speed gearbox, limited-slip differential, adjustable Bilstein suspension and a De Dion rear axle.
Inside are carbon Kevlar Tillett seats, a carbon dashboard, a four-point harness and a MOMO quick-release wheel. It has covered 14,500 miles and runs on Toyo R888R tyres on anthracite Superlight alloys.
