Caterham 620R R+

The 620R is the most extreme road-legal Caterham of its generation, pairing a supercharged 2.0-litre Duratec with the Series 3 chassis. This 2015 car has been taken well beyond the factory's 310 bhp: the previous owner spent heavily on upgrades, and it now makes close to 360 bhp, backed by a Sadev six-speed sequential gearbox, limited-slip differential and uprated cooling.

The chassis is set up for track use, with adjustable Bilstein race dampers, rose-jointed front suspension, a De Dion rear end, an FIA Superlight roll cage and a carbon aeroscreen. Carbon appears throughout, including the cyclewings, dashboard and interior panels. The colour-shifting purple-to-blue wrap is a distinctive finish. Even so, it remains road registered, with an interchangeable windscreen, roll bar and weather equipment.

It has covered 2,900 miles and comes with a large history file. A spares package, including two sets of alloys and a trailer, is available by separate negotiation.
