This is an early Bristol 411, a model built for eight years from 1969 and now increasingly hard to find in original condition. Early cars are widely regarded as the most desirable of the series. This one has the 6277cc big-block Chrysler V8, which gave an estimated 30% more power than the 5211cc engine in earlier Bristols, paired with an automatic gearbox and power steering.
The recorded and believed genuine mileage is 95,000. The dealer first sold the car in 2016, took it back in part exchange in 2022 and has since sold it on, with the car kept in their storage. Over £15,000 has been spent on it since 2012, including a new radiator, petrol pump, exhaust silencer, steering and suspension items and a reconditioned brake servo.
Recent cosmetic work covers a new wool carpet set, re-chromed wheel trims, treated black leather seats, detail paintwork and new front and rear screen rubbers. A 2016 appraisal found no mechanical concerns.
