The Bristol 411 pairs a hand-built British grand touring body with a big-block Chrysler V8, here the 6,556cc 'B' series unit that replaced the smaller engine used in the 407 and later cars. It is a quiet, understated sort of fast car, with a three-speed automatic gearbox and a famously large boot, the spare wheel and battery living in the front wings.
This example shows 29,174 miles. In 2017 it went back to Bristol Cars for a health check, with the steering, suspension and electrics renewed where needed. It also gained new halogen-style headlights, Avon safety wheels, LED dash lighting and phone chargers fitted to the cigar lighters. The previous owner bought it from the factory that year.
Other non-standard additions include a metal sunroof, front headrests, driver and passenger armrests, bonnet louvres, aluminium rocker covers, picnic tables and a modern Bluetooth stereo, plus dark blue leather trim details. Servicing has been by Bristol specialists Spencer Lane Jones and, more recently, Classic Restorations in Scotland, where the car is based. The dealer lists it as under offer.
