The Z8 was BMW's retro-styled halo roadster, drawn from the 507-inspired Z07 concept shown in Tokyo in 1997. Underneath sits the S62 4.9-litre V8 from the E39 M5, paired here with a six-speed manual. This car is finished in Jet Black (Schwarz II) with black and cream leather, the correct Style 59 wheels and its original hard top.
It was first delivered in Rome in November 2000 and came to the UK in 2015. The page quotes around 30,000km from new, which is low for the age. Joe Macari prepared it on arrival, including a replacement Vanos accumulator.
Maintenance since has been well documented: a recommissioning by Grosvenor Motor Company in February 2022 costing just under £9,000, then a new dual-mass flywheel, clutch and rear dampers in late 2023 at about £6,000. Everything M inspected it in May 2025 and replaced the coil packs, spark plugs and gearbox oil. A digital file with service history scans is available.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (BMW AG factory specifications for the E52 Z8 (400 PS S62 V8, top speed electronically limited to 155 mph); weight and 0-60 omitted because only 0-100 km/h was confidently published).
£179,995 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
