Bentley T2

The T2 was the last and most developed of Bentley's T-Series saloons, built from 1977 to 1980 and closely related to the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II. This 1979 car has a 6.75-litre V8 and a three-speed automatic gearbox, and is finished in blue with a hand-painted gold coachline over beige leather.

It has been tuned for driving rather than left strictly original. The most recent owner fitted a Harvey Bailey handling kit with uprated springs and anti-roll bars, along with Bilstein dampers and a heavier-feeling steering rack. Other changes are a Moto-Lita wooden-rimmed steering wheel, LED headlamps and a modern Blaupunkt radio. The original wheel and radio are kept, and a Tracker is fitted.

The car stayed with one owner from 1987 to 2021, then passed briefly to his son. The selling dealer has maintained it since 1999, with more than 30 workshop visits on invoice and MOTs on file for almost every year since 1987. Just over £30,000 has been spent on it in the last five years. It shows 51,694 miles, and the dealer says the figure cannot be warranted. The listing is marked sold.
