Bentley T2

The T2 was the last of the Silver Shadow-based Bentleys, with improved handling and a later specification over the original T-series. This 1980 car is finished in Caribbean Blue over Seychelles Blue, with a blue interior and a 6.75-litre V8 driving through a three-speed GM400 automatic.

The dealer has known the car since the early 1980s and owned it personally for two years. It was bought from the original owners in 1990 with 38,000 miles on the clock, and it now shows about 73,000. A full owner list is held, and one former keeper was Charles Delevigne.

Work under the dealer's care includes a repaint, an engine rebuild, a new radiator and water pump, an extra electric cooling fan, an air conditioning compressor, Avon 235/70 white-wall tyres, new accumulators and a refurbished interior. The leather has been restored and the door veneers repolished. The original stereo has been replaced by an Alpine unit with Apple CarPlay. Around 1,500 miles have been covered since the engine rebuild. The dealer's text also refers to the car as a 1981, so the registration year is worth checking.
