Bentley S3 Continental Park Ward Coupe

This 1963 Bentley S3 Continental is one of only 27 left-hand-drive examples built, and the fourth LHD car produced that year. It was originally built for Switzerland and is badged as a Park Ward rather than Mulliner Park Ward. Its 6.2-litre engine is paired with an automatic gearbox.

The car's story is unusually well documented. Its second owner, from September 1967, was the American novelist Irving Wallace, and the file includes 1960s photographs of the car in Los Angeles. One is a newspaper clipping, and another is a screen-grab from the 1971 film The Seven Minutes, where the car appears outside Wallace's house. The Bentley has unusual door panels with built-in locking drinks cabinets and a mineral water bottle holder.

Factory air conditioning is fitted, which was rare for the period, along with a speedometer in mph, Sundym glass, electric windows and an electric aerial. It is finished in Steel Blue with a beige Connolly hide interior and is described by the dealer as being in exceptional condition. No mileage is stated.
