The S3 Continental with H.J. Mulliner's 'Chinese Eye' fixed head coupe body is one of the more distinctive coachbuilt Bentleys of the early 1960s, named for its slanted rear window shape. This car, chassis BC42XB, is finished in soft white over pale grey leather.
It was specified new with Sundym tinted glass for the rear screen and rear side windows, both still fitted. An unusual extra is a Tudor-Webasto fabric sunroof, with its identifying tags still present. The page describes the chrome plating as good.
The dealer has prepared it for sale, including work on the brake hydraulics, servo and power steering, plus a full service, and it has a fresh MoT. The original registration, 702 GLR, has been reinstated. Chassis cards record a series of documented owners, the first being Jack Durlacher, a wartime Military Cross recipient who later part-owned a Lotus 49 with Rob Walker.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Bentley/Rolls-Royce factory engine data (6,230cc L-series V8). The factory never published power ("adequate"), and gave no official performance figures or kerb weight for coachbuilt bodies, so those are null.).
£79,500 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
