Bentley Corniche 2 Door Saloon

This 1979 Bentley Corniche is a left-hand-drive two-door saloon from the late "5000 series", a run of just six cars that the dealer says were built on Silver Spirit-derived underpinnings before that model was available. The dealer describes it as the first of the six produced.

It was first sold in California, finished in brown with a matching interior. It later passed to a collector who had it repainted in its present green and maintained it in Geneva. It has not been offered on the open market since it left Crewe. The odometer reads 48,882 miles. The interior is described as original, with uncoloured leather, lightly worn armrests and almost unmarked veneers. It also has a tachometer in the fascia and individual head restraints for all four seats.

Before a planned move to Ibiza the car had a major service, including a carburettor overhaul, new accumulators, a gearbox filter and work on the brakes. It has seen little use since and is EU registered in the UK. It wears US-style bumpers, correct for its original delivery, and the dealer says smaller EU bumpers can be fitted.
