Bentley Corniche

This is a first-year Bentley Corniche, a 1971 car fitted with the wooden steering wheel that was dropped after that model year. The dealer suggests only a handful were built in 1971, though it gives no figure it can confirm. It is finished in Georgian Silver over a red interior, with a 6.75-litre engine, twin SU carburettors and a three-speed automatic gearbox.

The car was restored to factory standards by Broughton's of Cheltenham in the late 1990s, while it was in Japan under a collector. It later went to a second owner and lived at a holiday home in Bordeaux before returning to England. The odometer shows 74,128 miles, with roughly 13,000 of them covered since the restoration.

It has alloy wheels as fitted to later Bentleys such as the Mulsanne S, and a set of correct steel wheels with hub caps is also available. The original instruction manual, service voucher booklet and tool kits are included. The Broughton's invoices are missing from the history file. The dealer notes a few small paint imperfections.
