This 1985 Bentley Continental Convertible is one of the first cars built to Continental specification after the Corniche name was dropped for the Bentley-badged open car. The dealer says it was Rolls-Royce's Birmingham Motor Show car at the time, and that only a little over 400 Continentals were made, far fewer than the Rolls-Royce Corniche.
It is finished in Royal Blue with a blue mohair hood that is raised and lowered electrically. The interior has piped cream leather and burr walnut on the dashboard, and a drinks flask and glasses sit in a lockable compartment in the driver's door. The original leather hood bag is included.
The odometer reads about 75,000 miles, supported by service history and MOT certificates. A thick file of invoices records extensive servicing by specialists including Clarke & Carter and, more recently, Royce Engineering. The car has always been garage kept and, according to the page, has not been used in bad weather for at least the last ten years of the current ownership.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Engine layout from Rolls-Royce Motors/Bentley specifications (6.75-litre L410 V8, built at Crewe). The maker never published power output ('adequate'), and I'm not confident of any official weight or performance figures, so those are null.).
