The Continental R was the first Bentley in more than two decades to leave the factory with its own bodywork, and the Mulliner version sits at the more potent end of the range. Its 6.75-litre turbocharged V8 is paired with a GM-sourced automatic gearbox. Bentley never published an output figure, but the page puts it at around 385bhp, which is a lot to ask of a car weighing roughly 2.4 tonnes.
This one was delivered new in 2000 in yellow over red leather. A later owner had it refinished in Fireglow red, a factory Bentley colour, and the interior was retrimmed in black hide to suit. The paint is covered in protective film, which shows some imperfections in places.
The history file records servicing from 1,764 miles in 2001 through to 87,746 miles in November 2024. That last visit included a new coolant radiator and fuel pipes, and cost close to £5,000. A top-end engine refresh was carried out in 2014 at just under 80,000 miles. The odometer reading is listed as 1764, but the service entries suggest the true mileage is much higher, so this figure should be checked with the dealer.
