The Continental R Mulliner was the last of the Vickers-era hand-built Bentleys, produced as a send-off for the long-running Crewe coupe. It pairs the long-wheelbase R body with the extra power of the Continental T, and its 6.75-litre turbocharged V8 is rated at 420 bhp and 650 lb-ft, enough for 60 mph in 5.6 seconds.
This example was delivered new in early 2003 and is finished in Sapphire Black over a Cotswold and Nautic Blue interior with walnut veneers. It sits on 18-inch wheels with Pirelli tyres and has the optional wing vents.
The service record runs from 2003 to 2022 through Bentley dealers and marque specialists. Work noted includes a replacement steering rack in 2018 and a new brake pump and distribution valves in 2022. The last recorded mileage is 39,584 miles. An odometer figure of 4551 appears in the listing's specification, but it matches a 2004 service entry, so it looks like an error and the current mileage is not confirmed.
