2000 Bentley Continental R Mulliner Widebody
£59,950
About this car
The Continental R was Bentley's big, fast coupe of the late 1990s, and the Mulliner Widebody is the rarest way to have one. This 2000 car is one of only 63 right-hand-drive Widebody examples and one of 148 built in total, with the broader arches and wider stance that set it apart from the standard Continental R. Power comes from the 6,750 cc turbocharged V8, driving the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic gearbox.
The colour scheme is Silver Pearl Metallic over French Navy leather with burr walnut veneer. Special-order details include blue Bentley badges, hub cap badges in blue and a painted coachline in blue. The cabin has wrap-over veneered waistrails, a walnut gear lever, wood fascia with chrome bezels, Continental R seats, Mulliner treadplates and drilled alloy sports pedals. Fully electric heated front seats with memory, automatic air conditioning, cruise control and rear parking sensors cover the practical side.
The car has covered 106,000 miles and has just been serviced. The dealer describes the condition as very good. Widebody cars rarely come to market in this state, and at this price it is a more affordable route into the Mulliner-era Continental R than the later, more powerful Continental T.
