This is a Blower Bentley recreation rather than an original: the 14th car built by Bob Petersen Engineering, constructed in 1997 on the chassis of a 1938 Rolls-Royce 25/30, under which identity it is registered. The aluminium-skinned ash body follows the period Van den Plas work, with Brooklands-style twin windscreens, side-mounted and rear spares, wire wheels and a fishtail exhaust.
Power comes from a 4½-litre overhead-valve six taken from a Bentley Mark VI, rebuilt, blueprinted and fitted with a hand-built supercharger styled after the Amherst Villiers original. It drives through a modified Mark VI four-speed manual with added overdrive. The cabin is trimmed in green Connolly leather with Wilton wool carpets and an engine-turned dash.
A previous owner is said to have spent nearly $50,000 on an engine overhaul, a new wiring harness, re-sealing the fuel tank and new tyres and tubes. The carburettors and ignition timing have since been tuned. No mileage is given. The price is shown as accepted, so a deal appears to be agreed.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Later-built replica of the 1929-31 Blower (1938 model year likely reflects donor chassis); no Bentley factory figures exist for this variant, so performance fields left null.).
£420,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
