Aston Martin Virage 6.3 Works Wide Body

This is "Minky", the Aston Martin Service and Restoration department's own demonstrator for the Virage 6.3 conversion, launched in January 1992 when new-car sales were slow. It was one of the most widely published Astons of its day and appeared on the cover of several magazines. It was used for track days, journalist tours and customer evaluations.

The 6.3 package bored and stroked the 5.4-litre V8, reworked the cylinder heads, added Weber/Alpha fuel injection and Cosworth pistons, and raised output from 330 to 500 bhp. Torque rose from 350 to 480 lb ft. Works brakes, revised suspension, 18-inch wheels on 285-section tyres and flared wide-body arches completed the conversion, which Aston quoted at under 5.5 seconds to 60 mph.

The car is finished in green with black interior trim, with a five-speed manual gearbox and right-hand drive. It shows 36,000 miles. The price is on application.
