This is an early Weber-carburettor V8 Volante, from the first series that followed the model's launch in June 1978. Only 441 were built, and just 157 of those were right-hand drive. Fewer still, 19, had the ZF five-speed manual gearbox. This car is one of only nine fitted with the more powerful V540 'S' engine.

It left the factory in August 1979 in Storm Red, with Magnolia-piped Burgundy hide, an off-white hood and beige Onslow carpets. It has had one registered owner since new, a Manchester engine business. It shows 27,000 miles from new.
