This is a Series V Aston Martin V8 with Weber/Marelli electronic fuel injection, one of only 59 built according to the dealer. The EFI car arrived in 1986 as a slightly cheaper and more manageable alternative to the V8 Vantage X-Pack. It is quoted at more than 300bhp, with smoother delivery and better economy than the carburettor cars.
It is finished in Warwick Blue over a Magnolia hide interior and was supplied new through Aston Martin Sales in Knightsbridge. The car was featured in issue 17 of Vantage magazine, and a copy comes with it. The odometer reads 84,700 miles.
Upgrades include 16-inch Ronal wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, as fitted to the Vantage, and a thicker front anti-roll bar. It also has a sports exhaust and a Nardi veneered steering wheel. The current keeper bought it from Nicholas Mee and has had it a little over four years. A leather-bound service history file, kept in chronological order, goes with it.
