The DB6 MkII Vantage is among the last and most developed of Aston Martin's classic six-cylinder grand tourers, and this one is listed as one of only 71 factory-built examples. It was built in 1970 and has a five-speed manual gearbox. The Vantage specification brought three Weber carburettors and a sharper edge to the DB6's long-legged character.
The engine has been rebuilt to RS Williams 4.7-litre specification, then dyno-tested and broken in before being refitted. Aston Martin specialists carried out the work, with more than £100,000 in labour and over £70,000 in parts, across 1,235 hours.
The gearbox has been refurbished and the front suspension rebuilt. Brake and clutch hydraulics are renewed, the steering is overhauled, and there is a new fuel tank and fuel system. The interior has been retrimmed, and the car sits on new chrome wire wheels with Avon CR6ZZ tyres and a bespoke exhaust. The odometer reads 43,917 miles, and a digital file with service history scans is available.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Aston Martin period factory claim of 325 bhp (gross) for the Vantage-spec 4.0-litre straight-six; weight, top speed and 0-60 left null because confident published factory figures were not available.).
£384,995 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
