The DB6 was Aston Martin's follow-up to the DB5, with a wheelbase four inches longer, more room for rear passengers and luggage, and a tail spoiler to keep the car stable at speed. This 1970 Mk1 Saloon has been restored by marque specialist Nicholas Mee, and its engine has been enlarged to 4.2 litres by RS Williams. It is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.
The restoration was carried out in 2018 and cost just under £300,000, including a £67,500 respray. The dealer says further maintenance spending has run to several thousand pounds since. A history file includes a detailed breakdown of the restoration work, and the car shows 55,137 miles.

Production of the DB6 Mk1 ran 1965 to 1969, so check whether a 1970 car is a late-registered Mk1 or a Mk2. Weight, top speed and 0-60 are omitted because the official figures could not be confirmed.).
