Listed today at Vintage & Prestige, Northampton. Last checked today.
This right-hand-drive DB5 (chassis DB5/1629/R) was first supplied in June 1964 through Eton Garages of Slough. It has the manual gearbox, and factory notes record that the clutch was converted from Borg & Beck to Laycock. It later spent time in an Austrian collection and is registered in both Austria and the UK.
The car is finished in light champagne metallic with its original light tan leather, which the dealer describes as showing only a light patina of use. Order-sheet specification includes chrome Borrani wire wheels with three-eared spinners, a heated rear screen and a Motorola radio with power-operated rear aerial.
The history file holds bills totalling many thousands of pounds from marque specialists, including Aston Service Dorset. A programme of improvements since it joined the collection has concentrated on the underside. The car comes with an original buff UK log book, the V5C and the unfilled Aston Martin guarantee. The page does not state a mileage.
