This is a 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4, the 1953 evolution of the DB2 that added two occasional rear seats and an opening tailgate, making it one of the earliest practical grand tourers. It is a rare left-hand-drive car, supplied new through Inskip in the USA to F W Meyer.
It is finished in Deep Carriage Green with beige leather, as delivered. The page describes it as matching numbers, with the 2.9-litre VBJ6 straight-six and a four-speed manual gearbox. Its engine size and period make it eligible for the Mille Miglia.
The car was fully restored in 2009 and is described as well documented, with a number of upgrades made during the work. It shows 55,000 miles. The price is on application.
