The AR1 was Zagato's open-topped take on the DB7 Vantage Volante, built for the North American market and limited to 99 cars. It sits alongside the DB7 Zagato coupé as one of the rarest coachbuilt Astons of the Gaydon era, with its own double-bubble styling and a naturally aspirated 5.9-litre V12.
This is car number 82 of 99, a left-hand-drive example with a six-speed manual gearbox, finished in Silver Birch Metallic over black leather and Alcantara. It has 7,500 miles on the odometer. Specification includes heated electric sports seats, 18-inch five-spoke alloys, black calipers, power-folding mirrors and aluminium gear-shift and handbrake levers.
It is registered AMZ 4007, and the cherished plate 007 is included. The car comes with a history file, books, tools and the original numbered car cover, plus AR1 baseball caps and umbrellas.
