This 1931 Aston Martin 1½ Litre is a crossover car, built on a Le Mans chassis but carrying features of both the International and the later Le Mans models. Only around seven were made. The AMOC register lists it as a two-seat Le Mans, and the chassis number is A1/97.
Its first owner was the comedian Jimmy Nervo, who is said to have raced it in period. A letter from the driver Rivers Fletcher, who drove the car with Nervo, comes with it. The dealer says the bodywork matches period photographs and is finished in the original racing red, with new brown leather aged to look period-correct.
The car has been freshly restored and is described as ready for competition. The engine has had a full rebuild, with bills from marque specialists, and the car has covered only a few hundred miles since. A large file of paperwork supports its history, and the dealer says it is Mille Miglia eligible.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Engine and layout from historical Aston Martin records for the Bertelli-era 1.5 litre; no confirmed factory performance or weight figures, so those are null. The Le Mans name usually dates from 1932; the 1931 car is normally called the International.).
£340,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
