The FJ40 is the Land Cruiser that built Toyota's reputation for hard-wearing off-roaders, and this 1980 right-hand-drive example has the 4.2-litre 2F straight-six and a manual gearbox. It is finished in Dune Beige with black interior trim, and has power steering, air conditioning and an underslung fuel tank.
The car spent its early life in Indonesia, passing through four owners and covering 161,119 km. In 2015 it was restored in Bali by Fearless FJ40. The body came off for a bare-metal respray, and the chassis was stripped and repainted. The transmission and four-wheel-drive system were rebuilt, with new suspension components. The cylinder head was rebuilt with new valve seals and gaskets. It also has WARN locking front hubs, new 16-inch steel wheels with all-terrain tyres, new door cards and headlining, and a re-wire.
It came to the UK in 2022 and is registered with the DVLA as a historic vehicle. A history file documents the restoration, and the car comes with its V5 and ongoing invoices.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Engine data from Toyota's 2F 4.2-litre straight-six specification. Power, weight and performance figures left null because published ratings differed by market (SAE gross vs net) and body style, and no confirmed UK/European figure is known. Part-time 4WD.).
