The Series V was the last and most developed Sunbeam Alpine, built from 1965 with the Rootes Group's 1,725cc four-cylinder engine. It has a five-bearing crankshaft and produced around 92bhp when new. This 1967 car is a white convertible with a manual gearbox and overdrive, which suits longer drives.
It was restored to a high standard around 2000 and has been maintained since. Recent work is well documented on the page. The engine was overhauled in 2024. In 2025 the overdrive gearbox and differential were reconditioned and a new set of tyres was fitted. The car shows 61,900 miles.
The same owner kept it for roughly 15 years. It lived in Jersey from 2011 and has since returned to the UK mainland. Inside are a walnut veneer dashboard and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. It comes with a folding soft top and a tonneau cover. The listing is currently marked as reserved.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Rootes published engine figures for the Series V (1725cc, twin Stromberg carburettors, 92.5 bhp gross), rounded to 93. Weight and performance are left null because no confirmed factory figures were found; the commonly quoted numbers come from road tests.).
