Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn

The Silver Dawn was one of the last derivatives of the long-running Silver Spirit platform, sold in Britain from 1995 and built until 1998 before BMW took control of the marque. It pairs the 6.75-litre pushrod V8 with a four-speed automatic, and only around 237 are thought to have been made, which makes it a scarce Crewe saloon.

This 1997 car was supplied new by H. R. Owen in Wildberry and has a stated 54,000 miles from new. It has had four registered keepers, with the first owner holding it until 2015 and the current family having owned it since 2022, when it was bought from Rolls-Royce specialist Hanwells for about £33,000.

The service record carries 23 stamps, from Rolls-Royce dealers early on to a range of specialists and then Hanwells from 2012; the latest service was in 2024 at 52,640 miles. Recent work includes about £6,700 at Gordon Dale in 2024 for drive belts, rear discs and pads and other items, a replacement engine control module the same year, and a rewired ignition, new alternator and battery in November 2025. It comes with the toolkit, jack, warning triangle, book pack, MOTs, invoices and V5C, and has an MOT to November 2026.
