Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I Long Wheelbase

This is a 1958 Silver Cloud I in the rarer long-wheelbase form, with a division bulkhead and extra rear legroom. The rear compartment has burr walnut veneers and twin picnic tables, and the walnut was recently removed, refinished and refitted.

The car spent recent decades in Switzerland, kept in underground parking and chauffeur driven. It was bought in the 1970s as a low-mileage example from the dealer Frank Dale & Stepsons. A chauffeur's clock was fitted under the bonnet then, and it now reads 52,000 km, backed by entries in the chauffeur's log book. The dashboard odometer shows 68,000 km from new.

The cream leather and headlining are described as original and in good order, and the paint is Masons black. An aftermarket light power steering conversion has been fitted to ease parking. It carries Swiss registration and chassis number BLC7.
