Rolls-Royce Phantom III Windovers Sedanca De Ville

The Phantom III was Rolls-Royce's only pre-war V12, and this 1937 car carries a Windovers sedanca de ville body with a central division. The sedanca roof has a self-furling cover, and the arms fold back into pegs inside the storage area. Rear passengers get twin slide-out wooden blinds for the quarter windows.

The car spent time in a Swiss collection, where the engine was fully rebuilt. It then passed to its current Portuguese owner, a noted restorer who has kept it for about two decades. The engine has covered few miles since the rebuild, with a couple of runs from Porto to the Algarve and light local use. The dealer reports good oil pressure hot and cold, and a water temperature of around 70 to 80 degrees.

It is finished in silver over black. The front seats have new black leather, replacing cracked original hide, while the rear compartment keeps its original grey cloth.
