This 1933 Phantom II is a short-wheelbase Continental chassis, chassis number MW33, that has been rebodied as an open tourer. It was first delivered on 14 July 1933 to Lionel de Rothschild, who had Park Ward build a Continental touring saloon on it.
The tourer body is an original coachbuilt piece from Danske Karrosserifabrik in Copenhagen. It was moved across from a Silver Ghost, and the history file includes a photograph of it on that car. The result is an unusual combination: an open Phantom II on the short Continental chassis, with a period body.
The car has spent a long time in Scandinavian ownership and is registered in Denmark. It has had a full engine rebuild and is serviced nearby by a Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialist. The paint is black over maroon leather that has faded with age. Twin occasional seats fold out to give seven seats. Equipment includes Lucas P100 lamps, twin trumpet horns, a centre spot lamp, dual side-mounted spares and a large rear trunk. It is European taxes paid and is viewable in Copenhagen.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Only the Phantom II Continental chassis specs are given (7.7L inline-6, built in Derby). Rolls-Royce never published a power figure, and performance and weight depended on the coachwork. I don't recognise the coachbuilder 'Danse Karosserie Fabrik', so I can't check this body.).
£220,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
