Rolls-Royce Corniche IV

The Corniche IV was the last of a line that began as the Silver Shadow Drophead in 1967, and this 1995 car comes from the final year of production. It is a 50000 Series, the later and rarer version, with Zwytek engine management, dual exhausts, a passenger airbag and a revised roof with a smaller rear window.

Only 49 Corniches were built in 1995. Twenty-five of those were the turbocharged Corniche S, which leaves 24 standard Corniche IVs, most of them sold in America. This is a factory European-specification car, supplied new in Germany. It has the smaller bumpers and no side-marker lights. The dealer knows of only one other European-delivered 1995 Corniche IV.

The car is finished in Diamond Graphite Metallic over St James Red hide, with a Mohair hood rather than the more common Everflex. It is left-hand drive and has covered 21,000 miles with two owners from new. EU taxes are paid and it can be re-registered in Germany and other EU countries. The price is on application.
