This 1934 Rolls-Royce 20/25 wears one of the more sought-after bodies of the period: the Owen Sedanca three-position drophead by J. Gurney Nutting, which can be open, half-open or fully closed to suit the weather. Chassis GYD69 was built at the end of 1934 and has the later "cat's back" style carburettor. It was ordered new by Stanley Morris of Blundellsands, Lancashire. In the 1950s it belonged to a Mr Litherland, who took it to Rhodesia, and it stayed there until recent years, becoming a familiar sight on the roads of Salisbury. The car is finished in black and the page describes the paintwork as show standard. The interior has been retrimmed in new tan leather with matching door cards and carpets, and the burr walnut has been removed and refinished. The dealer says the engine runs smoothly and quietly, and that more than £10,000 has recently been spent on the car. No mileage is stated.
