Porsche Cayman 2.9

This is a facelifted 987.2 Cayman, delivered new in May 2009 by Porsche Centre Silverstone. It has the 2.9-litre direct-injection flat-six, which has no IMS bearing, and the seven-speed PDK gearbox. Power is 266 bhp.

The spec is better than most. Guards Red paint sits over black leather with heated sports seats, a carbon pack, a leather-trimmed dash, a body-coloured transmission tunnel and red seatbelts. It runs 19-inch Turbo II wheels on Pirelli P Zero N-rated tyres, and the original stereo has been replaced with a Kenwood touchscreen unit.

It has covered 91,000 miles and has had seven owners. The current owner, a Porsche Club member, has had it since May 2021. The history file shows ten service stamps, and the PDK has had its 6 and 12-year services. Recent work includes a replacement front subframe after cracks were found, a refreshed front suspension and an advisory-free MOT. All the keys and books are included.
