Porsche Cayman 2.9

This 2009 Porsche Cayman is a 987 with the 2.9-litre flat-six and a manual gearbox, built up as a dedicated track car rather than a road-going sports coupe. The standard car makes 265 bhp and is rear-wheel drive.

The conversion is thorough. Inside, it has been completely stripped and fitted with a Protection & Performance competition roll cage, OMP racing seats, five-point harnesses, a fire extinguisher system and electrical cut-off switches inside and out. The side and rear windows are Plexiglass. The suspension has Powerflex track control arms and bushes, an uprated front anti-roll bar and adjustable struts and coilovers all round.

Mechanically it has a decibel-tested Milltek exhaust, a K&N air filter, a new clutch and a lightweight flywheel. Several sets of wheels are included, though the number is not confirmed. The page lists the odometer at 500,000 miles, which is unusually high and worth checking with the dealer. The listing gives no registration and no owner history, and the MOT shown expired in November 2021.
