The 935 is Porsche Motorsport's track-only tribute to the 935/78 "Moby Dick", revealed at Rennsport Reunion VI to mark the marque's 70th anniversary. Production was limited to 77 cars, built on 911 GT2 RS underpinnings with bespoke carbon bodywork and a long-tail aero package, and sold only to selected motorsport clients.
This is car number 43 of 77, ordered new in the Sachs livery, one of eight period-inspired schemes offered, recalling the Dick Barbour Racing 935 from the 1980 Le Mans 24 Hours. Power comes from a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six with 700 hp, driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK gearbox and a limited-slip differential.
The specification includes Recaro bucket seats with six-point harnesses, a Cosworth digital dash with data logger, a carbon roof, a welded-in safety cage and a 100-litre FT3 fuel cell. It has covered 239 miles and comes with a spares package that includes extra wheels with slick tyres, aero parts, brake discs and pads, air-jack equipment and an intercom system.
