Porsche 911 T 2.4

This is a 1972 Porsche 911 T, the one-year-only 2.4-litre model with the outside oil filler flap, known as the Oel Klappe. The oil tank was moved to improve weight distribution, and the car is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. It is in right-hand drive, which adds to its rarity.

The car has been restored by Johann Pienaar of JP Classics, a Porsche specialist in South Africa. It is finished in Grand Prix White over black leather trim, a combination the dealer likens to the 911 RS. The page says it has covered 13,927 km since the restoration, but gives no odometer reading.

The price is on application. The dealer says the car is still being prepared and more details will follow, so the history and condition are not yet fully documented. Viewing is by appointment in the UK.
