2025 Porsche 911

The 911 S/T is one of the more meaningful 992s Porsche has produced — a limited run of exactly 1,963 cars, built to mark the company's 60th anniversary and effectively transplanting the GT3 RS's 4.0-litre flat-six into a GT3 Touring-style body with a six-speed manual gearbox. This example is finished in Black with a Black Leather and Race-Tex interior, and at 788 miles is essentially unworn. It carries two of the more practical and desirable factory options: the Carbon Fibre Roll Cage (£3,707) and Front Axle Lift System (£2,546) — the latter useful given the S/T's low ride height on real roads. Full-vehicle Paint Protection Film has been applied, and Porsche's manufacturer warranty runs until January 2028.

Mechanically, the S/T is the lightest 992 Porsche has built. Rear-axle steering was deleted to save weight and allow fitment of a smaller lithium battery; the magnesium forged wheels and carbon ceramic brakes (both standard) contribute further. The shift lever is 10mm shorter than the GT3's and the drive ratios are shorter too, meaning the revs build faster and the gearchanges come more frequently — the whole character of the car is pitched towards intensity rather than ease. The 518 bhp naturally aspirated engine has no turbo lag, no PDK paddle to fall back on, and no pretence of being anything other than what it is.

At 3.7 seconds to 62 mph and 186 mph flat out, the numbers aren't the story. The S/T occupies the same territory the 991 911 R did — understated aesthetics over aero aggression, manual over automatic, road engagement over lap times — and early critical consensus places it firmly among the all-time 911s. One of 1,963 built worldwide, UK-supplied, with very low delivery mileage and a strong factory options list.
